Whitman Hanson WILL

WhitmanHansonWILL

Whitman Hanson WILL is part of a regional collaborative, the Brockton Area Prevention Collaborative. Whitman Hanson WILL’s mission is to save lives from substance use and prevent the damage it can do to individuals, families, and the local community. To do this, we educate young people with accurate information and tools to cope with life’s challenges, and to help them understand the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol. The school-based club is Panther PAALS. Addiction has affected all of our lives, directly or indirectly, in so many ways. Addiction – whether that is with drugs, alcohol, vaping, social media, exercise, eating, gambling, etc. – can create an unstable, unhealthy environment, making us feel overwhelmed, confused and not in control. Now more than ever we need healthy coping skills to help deal with the stresses all around us. PantherPAALS provides a series of workshops focusing on self-care and mindfulness through fun activities
